Celeb Status

You guys.....I'm going to NYC tomorrow morning!! I'm off work this afternoon at 3pm to finish up packing and then, it's smooth sailing to the big apple!
Can I tell you a story really quick before I go?

On Tuesday, if you read here, I went to dinner with my family at Quartino's. After a few great margherita  pizza's and a few carafes of wine, the manager came over to our table to ask us how everything was going. After we gave him rave reviews, he asked me, "Are you Tess"?

I made the reservation for the group, so I thought nothing of it.

"Well, Tess", he said, "Thanks so much for the shout out on your blog. We really appreciated your nice words and I had to come over and say that and let you know that us here at Quartino's are big fans of your blog".

Render me speechless why don't you.

My entire family was impressed and shocked.

I somehow played cool. He gave me his business card, I coolly placed in my new, Cole Haan messenger bag, and we parted ways.


However, what he doesn't know, is how much he made my night.
