I spent most of the week at a work conference in Palm Springs. I love any work trip that doesn’t require a flight because it just makes life so much easier. It was really nice to have my own car and be able to go home right after the conference was done. I will say though, I always think its going to be so fun to be in a hotel room alone, eat out, and just enjoy the peace…but it’s never as fun as I think it is. Plus, the three days of eating at restaurants non-stop have me feeling sluggish and gross I really need to take a solid break from white shit and sugar!

Keep your eyes out at Target for this wide brim white fedora. I had spent months looking for a hat just like this and I was willing to pay like 6x the price. I liked J.Crew’s version but the brim just wasn’t wide enough for what I was looking for and looked too fedora-y, so when I stumbled on this one for $15 dollars, I basically hit the jackpot. Plus, two different girls at the pool came up and asked me where I got, so that always helps boost the ego!

I happened to catch Kim Richards on Dr. Phil on the treadmill after work on Tuesday, and HOLY COW, homegirl is a mess! She fully admitted to drinking within the last three years, pluspopping pills “every once and a while”. She was super diva-y and very quick to make sure we all knew that she wasn’t using while on the show (like that mattered), but overall she was just a train wreck. Lisa Rinna must be just dying! She took a major beating at the reunion and all of her worries and concerns about Kim were totally validated.

Are you snapchatting? I’m not sure how I feel about it but I tried to snap a lot while I was away this week and it’s actually kind of fun and a little weird (tshields622). My favorite people to follow are CattSadler and DamselinDior – they've got some damn cool lives.

I have my eyes on next week like whoa! We have a doctor’s appointment which I’m literally counting down the seconds for, my birthday, a trip to Vancouver, Mother’s Day and my Dad’s birthday - plus, we celebrated my sister Hannah's 25th birthday yesterday! We are packing in quite a punch lately.
