I had a meeting yesterday right next door to a strip mall and got the chance to pop into Old Navy before heading back into the office. I'm on the hunt for more work clothes and cute clothes for Paris, and this dress checks both boxes. It's fit is incredibly flattering and it's $20 dollars.

AKA, speed. My allergies have been bugging me this week and I popped a 12hr Claritin and was the figgen energizer bunny all day yesterday. I'm seriously thinking about keeping a box by my desk for days I'm lacking motivation.

Did you catch this? It premiered after the HIMYM finale, and it's actually really entertaining. I have a major girl crush on Brooklyn Decker so I hope this makes it to a full season.
:::Orchids from Trader Joes:::
No joke, I bought two orchids seven weeks ago and they still look as fresh as the day I brought them home. I've been putting 1 ice cube in each pot once a week, and they're actually thriving. I read that little trick on Pintrest and I'm here to tell you it actually works. TJ's flowers are amazing.
So I made this salad (without pom seeds) and it was absolutely bomb. I added tomatoes and carrots for a little extra crunch, but the quinoa and goat cheese take this salad to a whole other level. We made it for dinner on Monday and then had left overs all weekend long. The dressing is pretty strong, so just add a teaspoon full to each bowl rather than the whole salad.

This is so weird- I just bought a strip dress from Old Navy AND ordered their print pants! I am TOO excited to get them and try them out! I also pinned a kale salad and can't wait to try it and had my eye on a few of Trader Joes orchids! We are definitely on the same page! Have a great week love!
ReplyDeleteI just put in a HUGE order from Old Navy yesterday and I was pretty devastated that the tall size of this dress sold out. I'm not that tall, but the tall sizes just fit me proportions perfectly. DAMN. But I've got at least 5 new dresses coming, so yay! They have some CUTE stuff this season, but I'm way bummed they don't have any fun spring trench coats. I was hoping for a hot pink one.

I love Claritin D. It's actually one of the reasons I'm NOT sad we aren't having babies anytime soon - cause you can't take it when pregnant. No clue what I'm going to do when I can't breathe.

I'm major crushing on Brooklyn Decker too and recorded the show! I thought it was ok. It has potential for sure. Love those printed pants. I swear you can add a chambray top with anything and it looks good. I love TS's hair cut! It would look super cute on you!
