Whiney Confessions. I want Winey.

Yo. Vent Session. Prepare Yoself.
  • I hate how the scale can make or break your day.
  • Pregnancy is in the air over here. My entire life is pregnant it seems. I now understand what baby fever is. It is not our time right now (or for a long while), but I do get pangs of insane jealousy.
  • Roscoe has a torn ACL and it's been so sad it have him sedated throughout the day
  • I hate online shopping
  • Marriage can be really hard. Joel and I have been together for 7 years, and our first year of marriage has been the most trying of us as a couple.
  • I can't sleep in anymore. Whyyyyyyyyy
  •  I cannot sprint. Joel and I have been taking a bootcamp class, and I've discovered that I cannot sprint. Everyone in the class is SO much better than me, and I can maybe get my treadmill up to 7.5mph for a minute and I still want to throw up. Grandpa's are beating me.
  • I want to move in with the Chrisley's
  • Speaking of reality TV, Kristin from RHONY and Cameron from Southern Charm are so unfairly beautiful I can't even stand it.
  • I don't like Facebook anymore.

  2. I'm all about a good and real vent session. I'll move in with the Chrisley's along with you. And yes, what's up with an inability to sleep in anymore?! Lastly, from someone who is pregnant, ENJOY this time, enjoy sushi, enjoy mussels, enjoy wine wine wine, enjoy margaritas, enjoy quiet mornings, enjoy your solo time, enjoy your time with Joel. :)

  3. So not only were we twinning last night with our necklaces and vinshots, but with our ride on the WAAAAHHHMBULANCE.

My life is so good. And this day/week/definitely month have just been so so so so rough.

Chin up - you're not the only one - it'll get better.

(and FB is the effing worst)

  4. I agree with you on the vent sessions. We all need them at times! Especially when the scale doesn't agree with us! I have learned to not step on it and just go by the fit of my clothes. I'll get on it occasionally, but I try to not stress myself about it. Sending you hugs!

  5. I love winey confessions! It's all so true. And the scale can be the devil. I try not to let it make an everyday appearance, but it often does. The pregnancy bug is a real thing and little babes are the BEST, but they are a shit ton of work. Enjoy yourself :)xoxo

  6. I feel ya. We all have weeks/ months like this.
I used to weigh myself all the time. And then I just kind of burnt out on the whole thing. I packed it when we moved, and it sat in the garage in a box for FOUR months. I finally unpacked it & stuck it in the guest room. It's still there.. but no longer a part of my routine. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but definitely a little freeing? Numbers are just numbers. You are gorgeous.
And I could not sprint to save my life. I'm impressed at how far you CAN run. Seriously, I couldn't even dream of running as far as you do.

And I'm not even going to address the baby fever point. Because you know, I've got it BAD.

Can't wait to see you Sunday! xoxo

  8. Love vent sessions!! I had the worst baby fever for years but it was never our time and then when it finally was I felt like it took me forever to get pregnant- but now I always remind myself that if I had gotten pregnant before I wouldn't have my son that I have now and he's perfect and was well worth the wait!!! Couldn't agree more about marriage being hard- I think the longer you've been together it gets harder every year!! Hope this weekend is better and you can enjoy some wine and relax!

  10. I moved the scale out of my room and haven't weighed myself in almost a month. My clothes, however, are telling the story just fine. WOOF.

Everyone I know is pregnant too. It hurts, even though we aren't trying.

    I LOVE online shopping, however.

I'm SO relieved to hear you say marriage is hard. I've posted a lot about it, but you guys always "seem" so happy and I feel like we are such a trainwreck.

    I too hate facebook.

    Hugs.
