weekend plans

Thank you ladies for your sweet words - I was literally so excited to post and tell all of you! I really want to e-mail each one of you, they way some bloggers do, but I don't have outlook hooked up with my sign-in e-mail, so it won't let me. 

I had been under so much stress just waiting for the news that the second I got home from work yesterday (and I'm talking within seconds) I got a cold. 

I remember a college professor telling me that a lot students get sick right after finals, because the release of stress and tension allow your body to get rid of all of the toxins. 

Who knows if that's true, but I do have a freaking cold.

Last night, Joel and I celebrated with some fancy champagne and then went out to my favorite sushi restaurant Rise and indulged in waaaaay too many rolls. I had a 2 martinis and fell asleep on the couch by 10. 

Really cool life, right?

Today, I'm going to head to the grocery store and then drive home for Easter celebrations. My parents are so proud of me that I got this promotion, so I can't wait to go home and see them. 

I hope each one of you will be spending the weekend around people you love.
