weekend report

My cousin Amanda and Andrew flew out on Thursday to spend the weekend with us here in LA and so we had another jam packed weekend of fun (and wine, and food).

Friday night we went to my new favorite restaurant in LA - Cecconi's. That is seriously the place to see and be seen.

After an amazing dinner, we took them back to the Laugh Factory, because we just couldn't get enough. Again, we hit the jackpot with an amazing line up featuring Chris D'elia, Dane Cook, and Daniel Tosh. Plus - we saw Sarah Hyland in the bathroom!

On Saturday we hiked Will Rogers and spent the day lounging on the beach in Malibu. It blows my mind that you can pack up a cooler full of drinks and snacks and spend the entire day on the beac
In the evening we checked out a new bar in Santa Monica called SHOREbar and had a great dinner at The Hungry Cat.

Sunday morning I took Amanda to Cardio Barre and then we had an amazing day in Santa Monica.

We sat next to the owners at Blue Plate Oysterette who treated us to tons of appetizers, entrees, and desserts, and all four of us fell asleep on the couch at home at 11pm.

It's been non-stop for Joel and I these past two weeks, and while it's been beyond fun, I'm in desperate need of some home cooked dinners and early bed times.

daniel tosh is hilarious...we saw him back in april when he came to indy, and we couldn't stop laughing. he's incredibly inappropriate, but hilarious.
