I'm officially a California licensed driver - which, if you're not from California - is actually quite a feat. Their 38 question test is freaking hard. All of my transplant friends freaked me out about it, so I studied - and memorized - all of the practice tests that they offer online. Well, the test lived up to its reputation and I failed my 1st attempt (Joel, of course, only missed one). Thankfully you can take 3 tests that same day, so I took the 2nd test right away and passed. If you fail all 3 attempts, you can't try again for 90 days. So glad that it's out of the way, but I have to wait 2 weeks for it to show up in the mail.

To celebrate, I met a girlfriend at Sotto for Italian wine and pasta. It was glorious - and the restaurant (and it's upstairs neighbor Picca) is my new favorite go-to spot(s).

I took advantage of Loft's 40% off sale and snagged this scarf for $8 bucks. I bought it to dress up a navy maxi dress, but I've literally been wearing it with everything. all. week. long.

If you don't have a dog, you are probably going to think I'm a nut job, but I'm just so in love with Roscoe lately. As he leaving his puppy phase, he is turning into such a little love bug. He is the cuddliest, most loyal and loving dog I've ever had the privilege of knowing. He gets a major shout out this week.

We don't have many exciting plans for this week, which is exciting in itself. I'm hoping to get in a few hard workouts, try my hand at another batch of Curry, and just enjoy being home.
