How Far Along? 31w5d, due October 15, 2015

Gender: BOY!

Weight Gain: 25lbs

Maternity Clothes: I'm trying to avoid buying anything maternity from this point on. I may get a workout outfit in a bigger size from Target but I should be able to stretch what I have for the next 8 weeks.

Nursery: The handyman showed up and was amazing (I need to leave him a yelp review). He came right on time, build what I needed to be built, and earthquake proofed some of the big stuff too. We've got a lot of work to do, and I'm still waiting on my glider but it's nice to see progress.
Movement: The last few days there has been so much movement it's kept me from sleeping. I have no idea why or what has this bambino going crazy, but he has been moving nonstop around the clock. I catch hiccups a few times a week too which is cute to feel and see.

Symptoms: I don't like the heat....long walks outside this week took a lot out of me, and I feel like I'm moving slower overall. I put my feet in a bucket of ice water over the weekend which felt amazing. My feet don't look swollen but they feel like it, so that seemed to help.
Sleep: I'm at my most uncomfortable when it's time to sleep. My body and stomach feel so heavy and changing sides takes like 2 minutes of solid effort.
Joel: Major trooper - and celebrating his birthday this week! He was great at our infant safety class, and even though I posted this hilarious picture of him, it was actually decieving. He was really into the class, asked cute questions, and had fun learning different positions to hold the baby in.

Workouts: Another slow week coming in at 3- 1 spin, 1 gym, 1 neighborhood walk. My schedule is absolutely crazy lately so it's been hard to find time.

Mood: Good unless I'm hot.

Cravings: Cupcakes

What I Miss: Running

Random Things: I take a breastfeeding class this week with my girlfriend who is also pregnant and we have an L.A. baby shower on Saturday that I'm so excited for.
Best Moment This Week: Seeing the progress in the nursery, doing the baby class with Joel was really fun, and writing thank you notes for everyone's generosity at our shower last weekend.

Looking Forward To: Doctor's appointment on Tuesday and then we leave for our babymoon vacation!!!
